Viscosity Control System
Principal
The system of Meisei viscosity controllers is controlled by sensing viscosity through the loads placed on the diaphragm pump. The evaporation of solvent in the ink causes the ink viscosity is thickening. As the ink thickens, the load on the pump is also increased. Then the pump cycle is getting slow. As the ink thins, the load on the pump is also decreased. Then the pump cycle is getting fast.
Automatic Viscosity Control for Inks, Coatings and Adhesives
The best selling viscosity control and measurement system for the past 22 years. Meisei has more than 80%of the Japanese market share. More than 12,000 systems have been sold to coating, gravure and flexo companies in Japan, and 19 countries.

Major Features
- Single unit performs 4 functions: Ink circulation, agitating, viscosity measurement and control
- Non liquid leakage by pneumatic diaphragm pump as compared with a geared pump.
- Detecting ink viscosity makes use of the characteristics of diaphragm pump, not to be measured by torque sensor.
- Selectable the right model from 81 types with combination of liquid volume (0.20 lit. ~ 200 lit.) and viscosity (5 cps ~ 100,000 cps.).
- Range of viscosity accuracy : ±2%
- Easy to clean by only 2 liters of solvent, takes a few minutes.
- By providing uniform viscosity, waste is minimized and ink consumption is reduced by 15% ~ 20%.
- Compact and lightweight (approx. 20.0kg./unit) and easy to move, setup and operate.
- Dimension of body (GP-10 : 320W × 295D × 550H in mm).
